Is the sand in water a big problem for Liujia solar pump?

Julia (20.02.2009 10:11)
Yes and no!!
like all pumps is the sand a big problem. But the flow of Liujia solar pump is small. The pump does not suck the sand in the water. So avoid sand into the solar pump is easy and different method could be used for these purposes. The problem here is, that user forget before installation to do this.

In the operation instruction:
FB3.0) For a frictionless function and a long life span of the pump, dirty water or with chemicals loaded water should be never pumped. You must try to ensure that the pump carries as little sand and dirty particles as possible. In particular at new wells you should wait before the commissioning of the pump till the water is clear and the airborne particles in the water are deposed.

FB4.0) To avoid possible damage of the pump mechanics, a filter (FI) of foamed plastic was premounted before the opening (OE) of the solar pump. If the water is not always clean, e.g., operation in a river, lake or a tank where rainwater with sand can flow in, the filter (or other kind of filter) is very important.
