This check list was created after long years of experience with the solar pump. If the check list is carefully considered, most of the mistakes during the installation and the usage can be avoided. Please check the operation instruction AND the check list.

                                    Check list for maintenance

b1          Take the pump regularly out of the water, clean the piston and the inner tube

b2         When appropriate, change the piston and the main spring.

b3         Dismantle the water pipe and let the pump run for several hours in clean water

b4         Check the firmness of the solar modules and clean them.

b5         Check the isolation of all electrical cabels

b6          Before the pump is put in storage, it should first run dry for some hours(not in water),

b7         Remove the piston and the main spring in order to oil it<A[it|her]>. Then  run dry again for some minutes.

b8         Store the pump in a dry place.

                                     Check list for repair

c1          Severe mistakes: The pump does not work anymore.

Possibility 1: mistake with the contact, no power

                                2:  piston is stuck

                                3.  broken main spring.

c2          Soft mistakes: Reduction of the water deliverance

Possibility 4:. Filter is dirty .

                                5. Dirty piston and inner tube,

                                6. Weared piston,

                                7. leaky water pipe

c3         Caution: If one tests the pump on spot on a sunny day, one can find the mistakes easily

c4         Was there a natural event before the mistake? E.g.lightning<A[flash|lightning]>, tempest, strong rain, flaoting, dryness?

c5         Was there an event before the mistake? E.g. injury<A[injury|violation]> the cables? Was current supply disturbed?

c6         Was the pump not mainained for a long time?

c7        Is the pump in a new well? The sand locks the piston.

c8         The water turn-off level slopes strong. The pump hangs of the water

c9         Water is within the electro box.

c10      The LED in the electro box should light up

c11       Are the solar modules in a good state?

c12       Are all cables connectionse OK?

Caution: the mistakes are<A[are|recline]> not often in the electronic part but in the case of<A[in the case of|with]> power supply.

c13       After rain and floating, sand or dirt<A[dirt|mud]> would be able to have penetrated into the pump.

c14       After missing maintenance over a longer period, the work of the piston is prevented

c15      Sand in a new well locks the pump.

c16       Take the pump of the water and open the ground screw

c17      Remove the piston and the main spring and clean or change them.

c18       Seal of the exit of the water pipe. Let the pump work in a bucket in order to check the density of the water pipe.

c19       Remove the water pipe and let the pump works in a bucket in order to rinse the valves

c20       If the pump still not works, then change the electro part in the electro box

c21        If the mistake remains, let the modules and water pipe how accustomed

c22       Send the pump including electro cable and electro box for the repair
